She combined passion and love for music. The joint tour of Juraj Hnilica and Kaczi starts this month.

The unique collaboration of two prominent musical personalities from the Czech-Slovak singer-songwriter scene, Juraj Hnilica and Kaczi, will bring a joint tour across both countries in just a few days. One of the stops is also a mountain lodge on the highest peak of the Czech Central Mountains, Milešovka.

New edition

It has been a few years since the first joint song of this duo called “Good Night from the Mountains” was created. In the meantime, they have released their second single “Don’t Lose Steam,” which can also be heard on radio waves, and now they are preparing to present it, among other things, at six concert stops as part of a Czech-Slovak tour.

The music video for the song Good Night from the Mountains:

“I am extremely happy about this musical collaboration, as Kaczi has also found her life passion and love in music just like I have. Personally, I cannot imagine functioning without music. Especially in these times. It fills me with an incredible joy and gives me a zest for life that I long to share with my fans. I am glad that Kaczi has a similar enthusiasm for music and that we complement each other wonderfully on stage,” says Juraj Hnilica.

“I am looking forward to the joint concerts and the new people I will be able to meet. We had planned our tour earlier, and I am glad that we finally managed to organize it. It is a unique concert collaboration, not just a typical two-concert event. We complement each other on different instruments and play the entire repertoire together, which consists of our most famous songs. I am happy that while learning Juraj's compositions, I could again learn something new and tackle it. It will be beautiful!” added Kaczi.

The music video for the song Don’t Lose Steam:

Both artists are characterized by an authentic and energetic performance at their concerts. Their work consists of conscious lyrics, and as they say about themselves: "We strive to bring beauty and love into people's lives through our songs. We believe that at least for a moment at our concerts, people can forget their burdens and worries."

The Prague indie group is releasing new music after three years, a hundred concerts, and is taking a harder sound. The album launch will take place on Friday, October 31, at the Prague club MeetFactory, together with the rock’n’roll band Branko’s Bridge. "With the new album, our live show has completely changed. At MeetFactory, we will present Island Mint in a new, sharper form for the first time, and we look forward to the fans' reactions," invites the band's frontman Matyáš Adámek, further explaining: “The new album features elements of trip-hop, downtempo, country, and stoner rock, with electronic elements seamlessly blending with acoustic instruments.” The album SLUN is the result of exploring the boundaries of how disparate elements the band can combine into a cohesive whole, and it overall carries a dirtier vibe.
