Year-round Activities

Thanks to its excellent accessibility from Prague – the journey here takes just over two hours – the apartments are an ideal destination for a weekend or a longer stay, throughout the year. In winter, you can enjoy 12 ski slopes, night skiing, and perfectly groomed cross-country trails right in Herlíkovice, with more options in the neighboring Špindlerův Mlýn. For the rest of the year, you can indulge in mountain biking, trail running, paragliding, or simply relaxing hikes with breathtaking views. You can also enjoy these views year-round while flying over the Krkonoš mountains in a hot air balloon.

Families with children will appreciate not only the playgrounds right in front of the mill or the nearby Aquacenter Vrchlabí but also the excellent facilities of the Herlíkovice ski area. There is a ski school where young skiers and snowboarders can learn their first turns under the supervision of experienced instructors. There is also a rental and service shop where you can borrow or repair equipment. For the youngest visitors, special children's ski parks are prepared – safe environments where they can playfully learn the basics of skiing.

Spacious Apartments for a Comfortable Stay

The apartments themselves are an example of sensitively conceived modern architecture that respects the history of the place. The building by Obršál architects draws inspiration from the original mill – it maintains its dimensions, naturally blends into the surrounding landscape, and combines natural materials with elegant modern design. The wooden cladding and stone elements give the building a pleasant mountain atmosphere, while large French windows provide impressive views of the surrounding nature. The rooms smell of newness and offer plenty of space – whether you choose to use them for a large family vacation or a work stay, you will have enough comfort. The combination of work and vacation, known as workcation, takes on a new dimension here. It provides you with suitable conditions for a productive workday as well as a range of activities for relaxation, recharging, and inspiration – whether you choose evening relaxation in the wellness center with a sauna and whirlpool or prefer active leisure time. Don’t hesitate and book your stay at www.mlyn-herlikovice.cz. And if you like it there, you can also purchase one of the last available apartments.
