The Lucie Bílá Theater is preparing another grand musical premiere. Following the success of the comedic hit Maminy, which immediately won the favor of the audience, the new original work Taťkové is coming. The premiere will take place on September 18, 2025, and promises an original combination of situational comedy and live music right on stage.

The project is led by principal and producer Lucie Bílá. „After Maminách, I felt that I wanted to give space to the male perspective on the world. And thus Taťkové was born. Moreover, for the first time, we included a live band on stage – that was my long-time dream that finally came true,“ says the multiple golden nightingale.

The creative team guarantees a quality viewing experience. The libretto and direction were prepared by playwright, actor, and director Antonín Procházka, known for his sense of situational humor and lively dialogues. „Taťkové are not a portrait of a specific person, but a mixture of various personalities. I drew from my own experiences and imagination, ensuring that each character had its own character and story,“ explains Procházka. The music, exclusively composed for the performance by Ondřej Brousek, will be accompanied by original and playful lyrics by Ondřej G. Brzobohatý. The result is a musically diverse musical that will entertain and move.

The story begins with an apparently innocent bachelor party that spirals out of control. The older bachelor Felix and his friends from the ice swimming club meet in one room, where during a single night they reveal their life stories, dreams, and fears. Entertaining dialogues and lively songs alternate with touching moments in which audience members of all generations can find themselves.

The star-studded cast of the musical is an attraction in itself. The leading roles will be played by Václav Kopta, Aleš Háma, and Tomáš Savka, who will be joined on stage by Iva Pazderková, Kateřina Pechová, Peter Pecha, Martin Sobotka, and Denny Ratajský. For the first time, Zbyněk Fric and Přemysl Pálek will also appear on the boards of the Divadlo Lucie Bílé.

Taťkové is the fourth musical premiere in the history of Divadlo Lucie Bílé and confirms that even a small family venue in the center of Prague can offer extraordinary musical projects. The combination of modern direction, live music, and emphasis on storytelling promises an unforgettable evening.

Taťkové tells a story about friendship and humor. I believe that it will bring joy not only to all of us who work on it but primarily to the audience,“ adds Lucie Bílá.

The premiere will take place on September 18, 2025, at the Divadlo Lucie Bílé in Prague. Tickets are already on sale at www.divadloluciebile.cz.
