The Backbeat Beatles group was founded in 1994 by musician, actor, and singer Chris O'Neill based on the successful film Backbeat, which portrayed the famous Beatles. The film won a British Academy Award (the equivalent of the American Oscar) for Best Music.

Their presentation of Beatles songs is almost identical to the original, not only musically but also in terms of costumes and overall stage choreography. The group performs in various arenas and theaters not only in their home country of Britain (including the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, which they sold out). Over the last 25 years, they have traveled the world and filled large concert arenas in Beijing, New York, Paris, Moscow, Dubai, and Hamburg. They have shared the stage with well-known artists such as Spandau Ballet, Shirley Bassey, and the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and have also performed at prestigious venues like The Sporting Club Of Monaco, Gleneagles, St Andrews, The Belfry, The Grosvenor Hotel London, and more.

The Backbeat Beatles hail from Liverpool, just like the Beatles, and an interesting fact is that they are accompanied by a fifth member in the role of Billy Preston, the original keyboardist of The Beatles.

In the two-hour concert, the first half will feature songs from the Abbey Road album, and the second half will present a whole range of other hits from the famous Beatles.
