Beats for Love will kick off its biggest edition yet on Wednesday. The unattainable Calvin Harris will also be there along with revolutionary news.

The Beats for Love festival will open its gates on Wednesday, July 1st, and Dolní Vítkovice will transform into a giant world of music, lights, emotions, and unforgettable experiences for four days. The largest electronic music festival in Central Europe will offer its historically strongest program this year, with more than 550 artists arriving in Ostrava from July 1st to 4th, performing on 18 stages, including the long-awaited megastar and hitmaker Calvin Harris, who will perform on Wednesday.

„This year's program is among the best and most expensive that the festival has offered its visitors in 12 years. A dream come true for many fans is the mentioned Calvin Harris, who only rarely travels to Europe. In addition to him, the main stage Love by ČSOB will also feature Swedish megastar Alesso, currently the most successful DJ on the planet Charlotte de Witte, the masked dance phenomenon Marshmello, or the legendary DJ Dimitri Vegas,“ lists the director and founder of the festival Kamil Rudolf.

The program will also offer a number of exclusive Beats for Love Special moments that fans won't experience anywhere else. For example, the Czech premiere of the new audiovisual show Andromedika or a unique B2B set by British bass music icons Katy B and Miss Dynamite.

This year's edition will also significantly build on the concept of Beats for Love Universe. The festival area will be filled with large-format visuals, lasers, live performances, and themed zones like Love Sphere, Space Sphere, or Industrial Sphere, which will connect the imaginary festival artery called Pulse. Visitors can expect, for example, the Ostrava sci-fi Stonehenge, a post-apocalyptic village, or the symbolic revival of a blast furnace. A surprise of this year will also be a new adrenaline show created in collaboration with Red Bull, the details of which the organizers are keeping secret for now.

From Thursday to Saturday, the popular conference Talking Beats will return, which for the fourth time will offer a series of discussions with DJs, producers, promoters, and other personalities from the music scene. Visitors will get backstage access to festivals, the music industry, and the creative process itself. An interesting feature of this year's opening will be a meeting with the festival director Kamil Rudolf, who will answer fans' questions while pouring Proud beer under the supervision of bartenders from Plzeňský Prazdroj.

A novelty of this year's edition is the LoveID system, which aims to ensure a more comfortable and secure entry for visitors to the area. The festival is also introducing LOVECARD by ČSOB, thanks to which fans can enjoy, for example, fast track entry at the main gate, discounts on merchandise, or other benefits in a special festival zone.

Part of Beats for Love also remains the charitable project Beats for Love Charity supported by the ČEZ Group. This year, the festival will help Oliver and Michael. You can read their stories on the festival's website, where you will also find a QR code for direct support.

Interest in this year's edition is record-breaking. In pre-sales, 88 percent of tickets have already disappeared, VIP capacities are almost sold out, and festival camps are filling up quickly as well.

All the latest news and practical information can be found on the festival's social media and website: https://www.b4l.cz/. The festival area opens every day at 4 PM.
