The unique project connects Hábl's reinterpretation of historical works with authentic portraits and symbolic images from the collections of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The baroque spaces of the former stable of the Tuscan Palace in Prague will host an exhibition by leading Czech painter Patrik Hábl titled "Immortāles – Through the Eyes of Time" starting September 16, 2025. This unique project, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, connects Hábl's reinterpretation of historical works with authentic portraits and symbolic images from the collections of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It thematizes the transformation of identity over time and creates a space for dialogue between painterly memory, cultural history, and visual representation of past and present faces. The theme of the exhibition will be faces in various layers of time – past, present, and future. "The exhibition will be very much about memory, sediments, and layers, but above all about time. About when the present meets the past and perhaps something that transcends us – a certain timelessness," announces Patrik Hábl. The exhibition is framed by an exceptional work from the collections of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Still Life with a Flower and a Parrot / Painting of St. Barbara, which will be publicly displayed here for the very first time.

A baby mantle guereza has been born at Prague Zoo. This is the first addition of these African monkeys in the Dja Reserve pavilion. It is also the first Prague baby of the rarer Kikuyu subspecies, which the zoo has been keeping since the beginning of this year. Unlike its black-and-white parents, the baby is snow-white, a color that will only last for a few weeks. The female Lebamba is a first-time mother, but she has taken on her role well. However, it is important to remember that the baby, whose sex is still unknown, has not yet overcome the critical period. It is already on display in the main exhibition of the pavilion, which, along with the guerezas, is inhabited by a family group of lowland gorillas.
