We are preparing an action-packed program for families with children and for everyone else. It will be lively in Florenc.
The opening of the main building of the Museum of Prague at Florenc is approaching, where you will find a unique immersive hall with a resolution of 11,520 x 6,480px (74 MP) – which is more than the newly renovated Planetarium Planetum in Prague's Stromovka or Deep Space 8K at Ars Electronica in Linz! The projections will completely surround visitors and draw them into the story and theme of the exhibition. Using cutting-edge technologies, a world-class visual experience will be created here, which people have so far mainly admired abroad. On the weekend of December 6th and 7th, 2025, there will be a lot happening at Florenc. We are opening the main building of the Museum of Prague and preparing an action-packed program for families with children and everyone else. So if you already have other plans, feel free to cancel them. This legendary opening will indeed go down in history. We have a nose for that. So it's confirmed. Saint Nicholas and his partner will arrive. And our mascot Grifo will be there too. But that was obvious; he wouldn't miss such an event. And you know what? We have a secret message that everyone will bring gifts for the children. A pack of dried fruit, coloring books, puzzles... Maxim Velčovský will also bring joy to the children. Although we don't know if he will come in person, his inflatable art piece will be in the large hall. And what about the adults? We will please them again. We will prepare seating around the jumping zone because we know very well that children can jump for a long time. A very long time. If you swing by sometime between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you can sway your hips to pleasant rhythms provided by professionals at the mixing desk. Dance your way to our Christmas tree. You will find it on the left in the foyer, and it is definitely worth a look. Right in front of the building, a stand with something warm to drink will welcome you. And nearby, there will also be a guarded parking area for strollers of our youngest visitors. So come on over. One event follows another, and it would be a real shame to miss it. Take a look.
