The exhibition Memory of Touch, developed in two chapters, is the first extensive presentation of the collection of Kunsthalle Prague.
The exhibition "Memory of Touch," unfolding in two chapters, is the first extensive presentation of the Kunsthalle Prague collection. The exhibition presents the collection as an open entity and places modernist, post-war, and contemporary works in dialogue with invited female and male artists from the Czech scene. The thoughts and positions of the invited authors open the collection outward and evoke new resonances. These dialogues take place at a time when control, certainty, conflict, and flawless appearance are prioritized—in a cultural environment that values efficiency and visibility while concealing what is unprotected, uncertain, and imperfect. Thus, the exhibition offers a quiet counterpoint to these imperatives and turns our gaze toward fragility and vulnerability—not as deficiencies, but as gestures of resilience. Openness and the courage to take risks here are not weaknesses but a conscious choice of one's presence in the moment. From this position of sensitivity, we then enter the collection through a non-chronological constellation of moments, impressions, and echoes.

Art, architecture, and design: The permanent exhibition of the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín offers more than 300 original exhibits.

The exhibition + - Zlín, which opened in October 2024, provides visitors with a glimpse into fine arts, architecture, and design, drawing primarily from the institution's extensive collections. Its main theme is the dual face of the city – on one side, the modern industrial Zlín associated with the Baťa company, and on the other side, Zlín connected with nature, the countryside, and traditions. It is the contrast between these two worlds that forms the foundation of the entire exhibition.
