COMPANY PARTY ACCORDING TO YOUR IDEAS: Columna offers everything in one place.

COMPANY PARTY ACCORDING TO YOUR IDEAS: Columna offers everything in one place.

The company party can be a pleasant way to end the year, a celebration of a successful project, and an opportunity to finally meet outside of the work environment. However, for guests to truly enjoy themselves, many things must work in the background – from the suitable space to technical support and good food. The Columna restaurant in Prague's Chodov offers everything in one place and allows for organizing an event according to the number of guests and the specific company's vision.

New edition

FROM AN INTIMATE EVENING TO AN EVENT FOR HUNDREDS OF GUESTS

Every corporate party looks different. In some places, a few tables for a smaller team are enough, while in others, space for hundreds of employees, a music program, a presentation, or a dance floor is needed. This variability is one of the main advantages of Column.

The largest congress hall, measuring 18 × 36 meters, can accommodate up to 500 guests during an evening event, and due to its layout, it can be used for large corporate events as well as accompanying programs. For medium-sized events, there is a congress hall with a capacity of up to 200 people, and smaller companies can utilize four separate lounges that can also be interconnected as needed.

Thus, the space does not have to become a limitation for the program. On the contrary, it can be adapted to whether you are planning a festive dinner, an informal party, a networking evening, a meeting with business partners, or a combination of several formats.

AN EVENING IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE SPACE

A well-chosen space is the foundation, but the atmosphere of the evening is created by the details. Therefore, Columna also offers technical support that can be tailored to the specific program. A corporate presentation can smoothly transition into the social part of the evening without the need to move guests to another location.

Another advantage is the possibility to divide the individual parts of the event. While the main space can be dedicated to a common program, the smaller lounges can be used as a quieter zone, a base for organizers, or a place for smaller groups of guests.

GASTRONOMY DIRECTLY IN COLUMN

A corporate party largely depends on good food and drinks. Columna has its own restaurant and gastronomic facilities, so catering does not need to be solved through several different suppliers.

The form of gastronomy can be aligned with the character of the entire event – from welcome snacks to ongoing catering and a joint dinner. The restaurant has long focused primarily on Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, and modern gastronomy. Thanks to its own team, individual parts of the evening can also be time-coordinated so that the program flows naturally and guests have everything in one place.

ONE SPACE, MANY POSSIBILITIES

A large Christmas party, a more intimate team meeting, a company anniversary celebration, or an evening for important business partners. There is no universal recipe for a corporate event – and that is precisely why Columna relies on individual solutions.

Depending on the number of guests, the schedule, and the intended program, it is possible to choose a suitable space, its layout, and the accompanying technical and gastronomic services. The result can be an evening that does not feel like a pre-prepared template event, but truly reflects the character of the company and its guests.

And the organizer? They can focus primarily on their colleagues, guests, and the evening itself instead of coordinating several different venues and suppliers.

Boris Brejcha will bring a techno show to the O2 Arena.

There are evenings that transform Prague into one big heart of techno. When Boris Brejcha arrives at the O2 Arena with his characteristic Venetian mask and kicks off a several-hour show that combines a monumental light scene, precise visuals, and deeper melodic tempo, the entire hall holds one single thought: what will happen in the next moment? And it is this tension of the unknown — that moment before the drop, when no one knows whether a gentle passage or an explosion of bass will come — that drives the strongest nightlife experiences in Prague. Whether it's a sold-out concert at the O2 Arena, the Signal light festival, or a marathon at the Roxy club, Prague offers that moment's tension in dozens of forms.

Put on your masks. The king of high-tech minimal, Boris Brejcha, will take over Prague's O2 Arena in October.

Housing in the spotlight: The Film and Architecture Festival presents films that inspire and warn.

Under the motto To Be or Not to Be, the 15th edition of the Film and Architecture Festival will present an extraordinary collection of films that explore housing from various angles. From Wednesday, September 30 to Monday, October 5, 2026, it will visit Prague, Brno, and more than thirty other cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The program will highlight different visions of residents, architects, politicians, and developers regarding the shape of cities and will introduce visionaries who have challenged established concepts of architecture and housing. It will also focus on how the environment around us influences our psyche and interpersonal relationships. "This year's theme touches each of us, so we wanted to create a program that appeals to the widest possible audience. The individual films use diverse filmmaking approaches and capture not only the final appearance of buildings but also the ideas and decisions behind their creation, as well as how people actually live in them," adds festival curator Václav Ševčík.
