The acclaimed documentary series Life on Our Planet, created under the direction of the legendary Steven Spielberg and narrated by Morgan Freeman (in the Czech version by Zbyšek Horák), will be presented in a unique format with a live orchestra. This extraordinary audiovisual experience can be experienced on September 27, 2025, at the Congress Center Prague. The series Life on Our Planet from production companies Silverback Films and Amblin Television offers a captivating look at the evolution of life on Earth. Eight episodes take viewers through geological periods, from the first single-celled organisms to the complex life we know today. It focuses on extinct species and reveals the epic battle for survival and the conquest of our planet. The combination of real footage and photorealistic CGI animation brings prehistoric worlds to life and offers an unforgettable spectacle. Audiences will embark on a journey through time and discover not only ancient creatures but also modern species whose roots reach deep into the past. The music for this groundbreaking nature documentary series was composed by renowned film soundtrack composer Lorne Balfe. His impressive compositions will be performed by a live orchestra of over 60 members, the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, under the direction of chief conductor Martin Šanda. We will screen in the original version (EN) with subtitles (CZ).
