In the fall of 1987, the entire Hawkins is terrified by open rifts, and our heroes suddenly have a new goal: to find and kill Vecna. However, it seems like he has vanished into thin air – no one knows where he is or what he is up to.
To make it even harder for them, the authorities have declared a quarantine in the city and, with the help of the army, are diligently searching for Eleven, who must once again go into hiding. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance approaches, a terrifying old threat returns. A decisive battle is brewing, the darkness is growing stronger and more deadly than ever before. The only way to survive this nightmare is for the whole gang to pull together until the end.
