DADDIES: THE NEW MUSICAL OF LUCIE BÍLÁ THEATER

After the success of the comedy hit Maminy, Taťkové are coming – and with them, a bachelor party that can go any way. The Prague Theatre of Lucie Bílá will premiere a brand new musical on September 18, 2025, promising a humorous and touching look at the world of men, fatherhood, and friendship.

New edition

The principal and producer of the project Lucie Bílá surrounded herself again with a proven team during the preparations. After Maminách, I felt that I wanted to give space to the male perspective as well. And thus Taťkové was created. Moreover, for the first time we included a live band directly on stage – that was my big dream that we finally managed to realize,“ says the multiple golden nightingale.

The author of the libretto and the director of the musical is Antonín Procházka, who prepared a story full of situational humor and exaggeration for Taťkové. Taťkové are not a portrait of a specific person, but a mixture of various personalities. I drew from my own experience and imagination – and mainly I wanted to ensure that no character was colorless,“ explains Procházka.

The original music for the musical was composed by Ondřej Brousek and the lyrics were written by Ondřej G. Brzobohatý.

On stage, the audience can look forward to a star-studded cast – in the main roles will shine Václav Kopta, Aleš Háma, and Tomáš Savka. Alongside them will also appear the stalwarts of the theater Iva Pazderková, Kateřina Pechová, Peter Pecha, Martin Sobotka, and Denny Ratajský. Premiere will then enrich the theater scene in Prague's Karlova street with Zbyněk Fric and Přemysl Pálek.

The ceremonial evening, which will kick off the fourth musical premiere in the history of the theater, promises a great portion of entertainment, surprises, and great music. I believe that Taťkové will bring joy not only to all of us who work on it, but especially to the audience,“ adds Lucie Bílá.

Tickets for the comedic musical Taťkové are now available on the website www.divadloluciebile.cz.
