The restaurant V Zátiší presents the Summer Festival, a special seasonal menu designed for summer lunches and early dinners in the center of Prague. The format combines three courses, two glasses of wine or beer, and water into a cohesive culinary experience that allows guests to enjoy the summer menu without the need for a lengthy selection from the menu.
The Summer Festival is designed as a pleasant stop during the workday, the start of an evening before a theater performance, concert, or a walk around the city, but also as a stylish weekend plan.
At V Zátiší, a restaurant with a long tradition and a contemporary approach to gastronomy, the summer menu is based on fresh flavors and elegant combinations. Chef Daniel Bureš works with seasonal ingredients, lightness, and subtle contrasts. The menu features summer dishes such as burrata with panzanella, tomatoes, basil, and sea asparagus; royal bream with passion fruit, miso, and brown butter; poached cod with ravioli, pointed cabbage, and bacon; or a more pronounced striploin from Čestr with corn, chanterelles, onion, and smoked paprika. The dessert made from strawberries, mascarpone, and chocolate highlights one of the most typical summer ingredients.

This is a unique event, as it will be Gojko's last visit to the Czech Republic.

From Carnegie Hall to Rudolfinum. Violin virtuoso Blake Pouliot will perform for the first time in the Czech Republic at the opening concert of the Prague Philharmonia.
The Prague Philharmonia will kick off its 33rd concert season on September 4th in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum. Under the baton of music director and chief conductor Emmanuel Villaume, the orchestra will feature Canadian violin virtuoso Blake Pouliot, who will be making his debut to the Czech audience on this occasion. The program, which connects Bohuslav Martinů, Samuel Barber, and Ludwig van Beethoven, will build on the orchestra's successful American chapter and bring its energy back to Prague.
WORLD ELEPHANT DAY AT ZOO PRAGUE
Prague Zoo will celebrate the largest land animals on the planet this Saturday. The themed program invites visitors to a guided bathing of elephants or to participate in making paper from elephant dung. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Paper Mill, a limited edition of uniquely numbered paper will also be available for sale. The Indian elephants in Prague will not be left out either.
