An opportunity to get acquainted with the history, landmarks, and interesting facts of Czech cities that children often only know from school textbooks.
About the Ice Cities event The basic idea of Ice Cities is to provide active leisure activities during the mid-term holidays, create opportunities to visit interesting places in our republic with attractive historical, cultural, sports, and educational points of interest, and to promote cities that are open to children and support their leisure activities during the holidays and off-season. Our partners are cities and institutions that offer programs and discounted or free entry. Together, we strive to make Ice Cities financially accessible for children, parents, and organized children's groups. This way, everyone can visit more distant cities and regions of the Czech Republic during the mid-term holidays. Ice Cities are also an opportunity for local families and organized children's groups, as events of this format do not exist in the peak season. Significant partners include elementary schools that provide facilities for organized groups from outside the city.
