Bocelli has countless records to his name, having sold more than 90 million albums and recorded over 16 billion streams. The famous tenor has long been an ambassador of Italian culture around the world. In 2020, he drew global attention with one of the greatest live music broadcasts of all time – the concert "Music for Hope". Throughout his dazzling career, Bocelli has received six nominations for a Grammy Award and six nominations for a Latin Grammy Award, he is a holder of a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRIT Awards, seven World Music Awards, and has his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Andrea Bocelli has performed during his career for four presidents of the United States, three popes, the British royal family, and many prime ministers. He has sung at significant ceremonies including the Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup, the opening ceremony of UEFA Euro 2020, the Premier League final, the Ballon d'Or, the World Expo in Shanghai in 2010, and in Milan in 2015.
He has performed in all the greatest concert halls, opera houses, and arenas around the world. Bocelli recently sang at the 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards and at the 96th Academy Awards. He also became the first classical artist in history to perform as the main star at London's BST Hyde Park 2024.
