The BODY WORLDS exhibition (www.bodyworlds.cz) at the Westfield Chodov shopping center in Prague invites you on a unique journey into the depths of the human body. Through authentic exhibits, detailed plastinates of real human bodies, and illustrative demonstrations of the functioning of individual organs, it offers a fascinating insight into how our body works, grows, and reacts to the surrounding world.
In a clear and engaging manner, it brings closer the themes of health, movement, and lifestyle, making it an ideal destination for a family outing during the spring break – a place where your children learn and you discover. Moreover – thanks to the children's trail, which reflects the individual themes of the galleries and works with information in a comprehensible way so that it is as accessible as possible for young visitors, you need not worry that your little ones will be bored, even for a moment. You will see everything – from skin to muscles and skeleton, to the nervous system, respiratory system, circulatory system, and individual organs. 15 iconic whole-body plastinates will allow you and your children to see how these organs are arranged. Why does the heart beat faster when running? How do muscles, lungs, or the brain work?
Medics in Every Gallery
The BODY WORLDS exhibition offers children and their parents a unique opportunity to take a close look at the functioning of the human body – clearly, illustratively, and safely. Trained medics are present at the exhibition to answer questions from both young and older visitors. Thanks to them and the illustrative exhibits, this unique exhibition transforms into an original and lively textbook of anatomy that fascinates both young and old around the world.
Prevention of Smoking and Obesity
The exhibition also emphasizes prevention and health care. Children learn naturally and non-intrusively why movement, a balanced diet, and the impact of unhealthy habits on the human body are important. They will vividly discover this from the present model of the blackened lungs of a smoker and have the opportunity to consider whether they will reach for their first cigarette in the future. Thus, they will take away not only new knowledge from the exhibition but also valuable insights for everyday life.
Open daily at OC Westfield Chodov, Prague until April 12, 2026. Tickets and more information can be found at www.bodyworlds.cz.
