Architecture and design lovers, we invite you to the next edition of the unique festival Open House Prague!
This year you once again have the opportunity to peek into spaces that usually remain hidden. Come enjoy a unique experience in the heart of Prague! We will open the doors to architectural gems that are typically inaccessible, and all of this is completely free! What you can look forward to: More than 100 buildings that are usually off-limits. New sites and objects open for the first time. Guided tours and lectures with architects. Exhibitions, bike rides, photo contests, and much more. An inclusive program, because we believe that architecture should be accessible to everyone. The festival is organized by the non-profit organization Open House Prague, thanks to the support of partners and hundreds of volunteers.
Summer festivals are just around the corner, and that means two things - theaters will close their doors, and various festivals will fully kick off. We bring you an overview of the best festivals you can head to with your friends.
The celebrations of this significant anniversary began in the autumn and will culminate on October 2, exactly 30 years since the stage was opened by Miloš Kopecký and the founder, now emeritus principal Milan Hein. Since then, the theater has presented nearly 90 premieres and a plethora of great actors have graced its stage. Four of them have received the Thálie Award – Alena Vránová, Marta Kubišová, Vilma Cibulková, and Richard Krajčo.
