In the heart of the Old Town, the story of one of the most iconic Italian restaurants in Prague – Kogo Havelská – has been unfolding for 30 years.

The celebrations of this significant anniversary began in the autumn and will culminate on October 2, exactly 30 years since the stage was opened by Miloš Kopecký and the founder, now emeritus principal Milan Hein. Since then, the theater has presented nearly 90 premieres and a plethora of great actors have graced its stage. Four of them have received the Thálie Award – Alena Vránová, Marta Kubišová, Vilma Cibulková, and Richard Krajčo.

Dance lovers have something to look forward to again in June. The 37th edition of the TANEC PRAHA festival brings together and connects artists from all corners of the world. The festival will take place at 20 locations in the Czech Republic from June 1 to June 26, 2025. The opening of the festival will be in the energetic spirit of Africa, and we will experience the equally fascinating closing by Emanuel Gat this time with the music of Tears for Fears. The fourth edition of the Vyshyvanka Day festival invites everyone who wants to glimpse into the heart of Ukrainian culture – through the tastes of home, craftsmanship mastery, traditional musical performances, and the beauty of hand-embroidered folk costumes that carry stories passed down from generation to generation. A day full of meeting, sharing, and joy will begin at 11:00 AM and last until 10:00 PM. Admission to the event is voluntary.
