A poetry course also for those who wish to write only good annotations of beloved bands. And actually for those who would like to write more substantial text messages. Topics: Must a poet think? Remembering is not proper writing! Must a prose writer count syllables in a sentence? A poem is not a self-portrait. Stories and verses grow out of trash – what does that mean? Free verse does not exist! Really? A dictionary as inspiration. What are rhymes good for today? The pitfalls of metaphor. Freeing a poem from initial contexts. Verse vs. sentence. Cuts in both poems and stories. How to create a collection? What can a poet in 2025 still do like no one else? And so on. Common thread: Czech poetry of the very youngest generation, not only, but primarily: Tichý, Babáková, Bártová, Černá, Krásenská, Děžinský, Řehák, Bouška, Hájek, Iljašenko, Aids, Voda, Řezníčková, Gabriel, etc. Interpretation of foreign texts. Creative response to the read and analyzed. Mutual criticism. Translation as the best preparation for a writer (Merini, Bishop, Brodsky, Akhmatova, Zagajewski, etc.) Writing in the field.

THE LARGEST TRANSPORT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT: CZECH BISON HAVE ARRIVED IN AZERBAIJAN
European bison from Prague Zoo and Olomouc Zoo have arrived in Azerbaijan. In Shahdag National Park, they will strengthen the local reintroduced population in the wild. Additionally, the original quartet of females has become a quintet – during the wait for transport, which was delayed due to the risk of foot-and-mouth disease, a calf was born to the Prague cow. The transport, organized last week by Tierpark Berlin and the German branch of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), was the largest of its kind. A total of eighteen animals headed to the foothills of the Greater Caucasus: twelve bison from German, Austrian, Hungarian, and Czech zoos and six from the Rothaargebirge mountains.
