This year, Metropole Zličín has prepared a program full of winter fun, movement, and entertainment for its visitors. From February 7 to 22, the ice rink will come to life every weekend with a special program in the spirit of the Ice Games. Get involved in sports activities, collect stamps, and compete for attractive prizes. A colorful mix of games, competitions, and music will surely entertain the whole family and allow everyone to enjoy the last tremors of a winter atmosphere full of movement and joy.

Ice events on the rink are an ideal opportunity to brighten up the frosty winter days. On Saturday, February 7th, the Ice Games will kick off at the rink of the Metropole Zličín shopping center with a grand opening, during which we will present a packed program full of winter fun for the entire month. Come take a photo on the ice throne or check out the live show featuring the carving of themed ice sculptures. Collect competition cards, gather stamps throughout February, and participate in the race for the title of the top three athletes and valuable prizes from the Bauer brand and the Ice Rink Prague. The winners will be announced at the grand finale of the games. The festive start will conclude with a parade, a joint honorary lap for skating, and a disco on the ice from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 PM, a moderator will guide you through the program, introducing you to selected winter sports in a tasting format. Each day will be dedicated to a different sports discipline. On Saturday, February 8th, you will be able to try the basics of figure skating technique and also watch themed performances. On Friday, February 14th, the program will focus on hockey shooting at the goal and slalom, while on Saturday, February 15th, it will be about curling in the form of throwing. On February 21st, you can look forward to biathlon – participants will receive starting numbers and complete a combination of skating and shooting in various positions, supplemented by a number of other activities. The finale of the Ice Games program will culminate on February 22nd with a packed program featuring a brief recap of all sports and the opportunity to try again the one you enjoyed the most.

After the announcement of the podium winners, the rink will plunge into darkness, followed by performances from several artists with a spectacular Light Show on the ice. Afterwards, the rink will transform into a proper winter party. Visitors will be able to rent lights for their skates and glowing bracelets and join in the unique atmosphere on the ice with the accompaniment of a DJ.

Public skating and skate rentals are available daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, starting at 12:00 PM on Thursdays. You can rent skates directly on site - the rental offers equipment for both children and adults, including ducklings, helmets, and support frames. The entrance fee is 130 CZK for adults, 70 CZK for children under 15, and 50 CZK for accompanying persons. Shoe covers are required and can also be rented directly at the rink. Payment programs Multisport, Pluxee, or Edenred can be used at the entrance.

In the Czech Republic, a new educational project called "Educate Czechia" is starting, which responds to the long-term problems faced by Czech education and families. It addresses the unpreparedness of children in the first grades, the deteriorating physical fitness of children, which can lead to obesity, and the mental health issues of adolescents.
