Art in Prague 2026 - international sales exhibition

The international sales exhibition will showcase 140 works by thirty artists from seven countries.

A showcase of various artistic techniques by contemporary independent artists - acrylics, mixed media, oil on canvas, sculptures, applied glass, assemblage, collages, and textile art as well as vinyl art. A display of contemporary modern art (abstraction, cubism, magical realism, fauvism, romanticism, expressionism, pop art). From emerging artists to world-renowned creators. The most prominent among the authors is academic painter Rumen Sazdov (a Bulgarian who has lived in Prague for over 30 years), whose works are described by experts as lyrical cubism. He is one of the few living artists whose works were included in the prestigious worldwide Mayer catalog over 30 years ago. His works are owned by notable personalities such as American actor Bruce Willis, guitarist of the Scorpions, Mr. Schenker, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, Madame Bernadette Chirac, Prince Kiril Tarnovski, Spanish Marquise Gloria Ferera des Monsolis, Countess Kristine d'Barout, and other significant global figures. The paintings are complemented by sculptures (made from chamotte clay), and glass (applied art) by Dalibor Šípek, including a few exclusive signed works from the estate of his world-famous father, Bořek Šípek. A unique piece is the sculpture of T.G. Masaryk by independent artist Ivan Jurečka, whose exhibition also includes another 60 works hand-carved from vinyl records. Among other exhibiting artists, you will also find romantic images by singer and actress Petra Černocká (Saxana) or paintings and textile creations by artist, designer, and gallery owner Zuzana Křováková, who has been organizing these international exhibitions of contemporary art for 10 years.
