ROBERT LANGDON IN PRAGUE! Dan Brown is preparing a new novel featuring the beloved hero titled Secret of Secrets.

The new novel by Dan Brown, the best-selling author in the world, will be released on September 9, 2025, by Doubleday in New York – and on the same day by Argo in a Czech translation by Michala Marková and David Petrů. For the Czech audience, Dan Brown's new work is particularly interesting: it takes place in Prague, and the Czech capital and its mythical past as well as its vibrant present play a crucial role in it.

Simultaneously, the long-awaited novel will be released in another fourteen countries: in Great Britain (Transworld, a division of PenguinRandom House), Brazil (Sextante), Denmark (Politikens), Finland (WSOY), France (JC Lattes), Italy (Rizzoli), Germany (BasteiLübbe), the Netherlands (Luitingh-Sijthoff), Poland (Sonia Draga), Portugal (Planeta Portugal), Slovakia (Ikar), Spain (Planeta /Spanish/ and Columna /Catalan/), Sweden (Albert BonniersFörlag), and Turkey (AltinKitaplar). YEAR IN THE WORLD. A YOUNG GIBBON FROM ZOOPRAHA HAS RECEIVED THE SYMBOLIC NAME BAYU.

Friday the thirteenth – a lucky day for the silver gibbons at Prague Zoo. Last December, the experienced female Alang Alang gave birth to her fourth offspring. The energetic nature of the male, now named Bayu by the keepers, is reflected in his name, which means "wind" in Indonesian. The curious and playful young male stands out for his fearlessness and is training in the typical brachiation for gibbons. The first offspring of this endangered species was born at the Prague Zoo ten years ago, marking the first addition of its kind in the Czech Republic.
