Summer at the cinema can be more than just a movie experience. Cinema City has launched its annual summer competition "Win All Summer" starting July 3rd, where every visit turns into points and those into rewards - from popcorn and free tickets to weekly prizes from partners and the grand prize of a six-month rental of a Volvo XC60 or a trip to Gothenburg.

Cinema City will launch its summer contest "Win All Summer" starting July 3rd, where every visit to the cinema will be converted into points, which can then be exchanged for rewards. Not only the ticket counts, but also refreshments at the bar or purchases of movie merchandise. Benefits await practically with every visit to the cinema. Visitors can exchange their collected points for snacks, drinks, free tickets, or discounts on their next cinema visit. And those who go to the cinema with a loyalty card have an advantage! Members of the Cinema City Club earn points at double speed.

In addition to immediate rewards, every week there will also be prizes from the contest partners. For example, there are packages for coffee lovers from Lavazza, vouchers for Klenoty Aurum, ScanQuilt, gift cards from OMV, Hot Wheels products, or experiences such as tickets to Ještěd or Špindlerův Mlýn. The main prize of the contest is the loan of a Volvo XC60 for six months or a trip to Gothenburg, Sweden, the home of the Volvo car manufacturer.

"We wanted to create a summer campaign that would enhance every cinema visit and bring joy to people. Every purchase counts, and rewards are easily attainable. Whether it's popcorn, a ticket, or the main prize, which is the loan of a Volvo XC60 for six months," says Cinema City marketing manager Lenka Al-Rihani.

The contest runs in all Cinema City multiplexes in the Czech Republic from July 3rd to August 13th, 2026. Receipts can be registered online at the contest website letnisoutez.cinemacity.cz

Under the motto To Be or Not to Be, the 15th edition of the Film and Architecture Festival will present an extraordinary collection of films that explore housing from various angles. From Wednesday, September 30 to Monday, October 5, 2026, it will visit Prague, Brno, and more than thirty other cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The program will highlight different visions of residents, architects, politicians, and developers regarding the shape of cities and will introduce visionaries who have challenged established concepts of architecture and housing. It will also focus on how the environment around us influences our psyche and interpersonal relationships. "This year's theme touches each of us, so we wanted to create a program that appeals to the widest possible audience. The individual films use diverse filmmaking approaches and capture not only the final appearance of buildings but also the ideas and decisions behind their creation, as well as how people actually live in them," adds festival curator Václav Ševčík.

From 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, visitors will be offered freshly baked pizza in many varieties, ice cream, prosecco, and specialty coffee. There will also be music, a negroni bar, Italian lessons, and other accompanying programs. Admission is free.
