Unforgettable Tours of Olomouc’s Historic Town Hall and Komenium Festive Hall

Add a special touch to your visit with an Advent tour of the historic Town Hall. You’ll step back in time with fascinating stories of Olomouc, concluding with a panoramic view from the 75-meter high Town Hall Tower, overlooking the city’s festive landscape. Tours run Friday through Sunday, and your ticket can also be redeemed for a complimentary serving of punch.

On each Advent Sunday, take the rare chance to have a guided tour of the beautifully decorated Komenium Festive Hall—often called “Olomouc’s Sistine Chapel” for its intricate murals. Nativity Scenes of Olomouc

The aviation museum in Kunovice acquired a new aircraft for its collection at the end of March. It is the HM-14 machine nicknamed Pou-du-Ciel, or Heavenly Flea. "It was a kind of predecessor to today's ultralight aircraft. People built Heavenly Fleas at home in the 1930s and 1940s according to a book guide. Anyone with a bit of skill could manage it," says the museum director Martin Hrabec about it.

To uncover why a devastating drought has struck the kingdom, they need to understand how nature works. Such knowledge can be useful not only to them but also to all the little and big viewers. Therefore, accept the invitation to Hurvínek's journey to Tramtárie; tickets will be available in cinemas from April 16.
