CENTRAL GALLERY PRESENTS THE AUTUMN TRINITY OF EXHIBITIONS: JAN SAUDEK 90, SALVADOR DALÍ, AND ANDY WARHOL

Autumn days in Prague don't have to be gray and gloomy. Central Gallery at Old Town Square offers a cultural refuge where everyone can be surrounded by inspiration, originality, and the courage of three extraordinary personalities in art.

New edition

The main program is the exhibition “JAN SAUDEK 90”, prepared for the life anniversary of the world-renowned Czech photographer, Jan Saudek. The exhibition presents a cross-section of his unmistakable work – from iconic photographs full of color and provocation to intimate pieces that reveal human fragility and strength.

In addition to this fundamental exhibition, the Central Gallery offers other projects dedicated to significant personalities. Visitors can look forward to encounters with two legends of world art.

The Salvador Dalí exhibition presents the magical world of surrealism, where reality intertwines with dreams, and offers a glimpse into the artist who was able to transform fantasy into visual wonders.

Andy Warhol, an icon of pop art, brings the pulsating energy of 1960s America to the gallery, contrasting mass culture with unique individuality, as well as a fascination with media and fame.

Together, they create a unique triptych of exhibitions that allows visitors to immerse themselves in three different, yet universally inspiring worlds.

“We want people to leave the gallery feeling that their day was richer, more colorful, and more joyful,” says Helena Kočíková, the gallery curator.

Central Gallery has become a sought-after cultural center in Prague over the past few years, bringing world-class exhibitions to the historic heart of the city. Each exhibition here represents not only a visual experience but also an opportunity for a deeper understanding of contemporary and classical art. Central Gallery thus continually pushes the boundaries of traditional gallery space and opens a dialogue with a wide audience across generations.
