Burger King® now serves breakfast. To launch it, they organized a Pancake Party.

BURGER KING® will serve breakfast menus in its restaurants every day from morning until 11 a.m. Therefore, in collaboration with the creative agency Zaraguza, it brought the Morning Disco trend to the Czech Republic as part of the Pancake Party, accompanied by a competition in eating mini pancakes with raspberry sauce, one of the highlights of the morning offering.

New edition

The entire event was musically energized by DJ TeddyFromTheBox and hosted by Vítek Zach, known as @jsemvitez, who has been collaborating with Burger King® as an influencer for a long time. During Saturday morning, customers enjoyed a party in a disco rhythm at the restaurant in Anděl and tested the new breakfast menu.

In it, you will be able to choose a Pocket with egg, bacon, and hashbrown, Toast with egg, cheese, and bacon, a Burger with egg in beef, chicken, or plant-based variants, or Mini pancakes with raspberry sauce. These became one of the stars of the Pancake Party due to the competition to see who could eat sixty of them the fastest.

The registration for the competition generated so much interest that the organizers had to stop it after just 24 hours due to the overwhelming number of participants. The winner devoured 60 mini pancakes in an incredible 2 minutes and 40 seconds, and overall, competitors at the event ate over a thousand. The winners received original Burger King® Pancake Party merchandise and a voucher for a year of free breakfast. The fun then continued on the dance floor.

“Morning Disco is a trend that we felt was somewhat missing in the Czech Republic, so we decided to bring it here during the breakfast presentation, and it turned out to definitely attract people. Together with eating mini pancakes and the new menu, it was a morning that participants really enjoyed,” says Soňa Kaprálová, Account Manager at the creative agency Zaraguza.

The breakfast presentation is accompanied by a campaign on social media, digital platforms, radio, and of course in all restaurants.

The HackFood brand was born from the belief that the true functionality of food does not arise from isolating individual substances, but from understanding their natural connections. In an environment where it is common to extract a single molecule, standardize it, and add it to a neutral base, HackFood represents the opposite approach. Honey is not reduced to a sweetener, but is understood as a complex biological matrix with its own functional potential.
