Come to the Historical Building of the National Museum to see unique rescued items from the historical territory of Nubia.
The exhibition "Mysterious Nubia" in the Historical Building of the National Museum commemorates the international initiative to save endangered monuments in the historical region of Nubia, which was declared by UNESCO 65 years ago. Thanks to Czechoslovak expeditions and contributions to the discoveries of the then Czechoslovak Institute of Egyptology at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, an exceptional cultural heritage of the Lower Nubia region has been preserved in the collections of the National Museum.
