We will go through the individual halls of the monastery (Theological, Philosophical) and we will talk about the origin of these two beautiful halls.
A monastery is established on Mount Sion near the city in the 12th century, which has been inhabited by the Premonstratensians, or "white brothers," since its inception. Due to their focus on education, their monastery was not dissolved during the Josephine reforms; on the contrary, it opened a public library and a new hall was built – the Philosophical Hall.
