Commented tour of the graphic cabinet in the exhibition Old Masters I at the Schwarzenberg Palace with Alena Volrábová.
We will present the depiction of picturesque lily flowers as a symbol of purity, and also as an artistic capture of the plant. We will see works by Albrecht Dürer, Václav Hollar, Alphonse Mucha, Jan Zrzavý, and others. The "Through the Eyes of Curators" cycle offers insights from those who work daily with art collections, care for them, and examine them in detail. In each meeting, the curator focuses on a selected part of the exhibition, shares themes from their research, key questions, and highlights details that usually remain hidden. The interpretation connects expert insight with an accessible format and invites open dialogue.
