In December 2025, the Czech Republic will experience an extraordinary artistic event! For the first time, the renowned ballet company Wiener Stadtballett will present two of the most iconic works of classical ballet – Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. Wiener Stadtballett is synonymous with elegance, precision, and deep emotional experience. Its mission is to preserve and develop the rich traditions of classical ballet, where movement becomes the language of the soul. The company consists of graduates from the most prestigious choreographic schools in Europe, who combine perfect technique with exceptional acting expression. On stage, they come to life in every gesture, in every movement – so authentically that the audience feels as if they have become part of the story. Additionally, the performers will include leading soloists from prominent European theaters. Their performances will be complemented by magnificent stage decorations and beautiful period costumes that will enhance the magical atmosphere of the show. The Nutcracker. The ballet The Nutcracker, composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, is one of the most popular Christmas performances in the world. It was first presented on December 18, 1892, and remains one of the most frequently performed ballets today. The story takes place on Christmas Eve in the home of Dr. Stahlbaum, where his daughter Marie receives a special gift from her godfather Drosselmeyer – a soldier doll named The Nutcracker. When the clock strikes midnight, the room comes to life: toys transform into living beings, and mice led by the fearsome Mouse King appear. The brave Nutcracker stands against them with a small army of Christmas toys. Marie does not abandon her hero and helps him in the battle. This magical ballet, full of wonderful melodies, enchanting scenes, and festive atmosphere, is an inseparable part of Christmas around the world. For all audience members who do not want to miss a single performance in each city, a special offer is prepared: A SEASON TICKET. When purchasing a ticket for both ballet evenings in the same seat and price category, you will receive a ticket for the second performance at a 50% discount (the discount is already reflected in the price of the season ticket).
