Strawberries have long been considered royal fruit and a symbol of love for their taste.
They were already known in ancient Rome, but they began to be consumed in large quantities only in the late Middle Ages, when they were mainly cultivated by monks. Today's garden strawberries originated from the crossing of several wild species – thanks to the court gardener of Louis XV. They spread more widely in our territory only in the 19th century, especially in Central Bohemia. Today, they are an inseparable part of summer – and it is their taste that inspired us to create this fresh seasonal menu. Bon appétit from Chef Denis Wágner.
