When a man leaves his family, it causes a stir and perhaps some outrage. But what happens when a woman leaves her family? Two identical actions, two different evaluations and impacts.

A person does not choose the environment they are born into. And sometimes it is beyond their ability to fit in, to measure up, to meet the expectations of society and loved ones. To stay within the boundaries that have been set for them. They may not want to, or simply cannot by their nature. They are simply different. Perhaps they can try to deny themselves. To believe that it is possible to escape from it all, that one can run away from oneself. But sometimes what initially seems like liberation ultimately turns out to be a trap.
