From a damp Old Town cellar, he has built one of the most respected chamber stages in the Czech Republic over more than three decades. Although he retired in 2025, becoming an "emeritus principal," he remains the driving force of the entire theatre. This year, he opened a new theatre café - Café Hein - and still performs in two productions.
