The Braník Book Festival was born out of a love for literature and community. Every year, publishers, authors, readers, and simply everyone who loves a good story – or at least a good beer – gather in front of Periferie Cafe. After four successful years, we are coming with the fifth – and as always, it will be full of literary discoveries, live music, food from around the world, and conversations that won’t finish. Admission is free. Come alone, with family, with children, or with a dog.

Prague Zoo welcomes new additions outside of its Troja area as well. After two Przewalski's horse foals born in the Gobi exhibit, a colt has also been born at Dívčí hrady. These largest land mammals in Europe, which nearly went extinct in the past, have only inhabited the spacious enclosure since last autumn.
