The female band Vesna announced their dream concert at Fórum Karlín, which will take place on October 22, 2026.

The female band Vesna announced their dream concert at Fórum Karlín, which will take place on October 22, 2026.

Vesna recently held their last concert and announced to fans that they will not be performing in Prague for at least a year. The reason for this break is the preparation for their largest concert yet at Forum Karlín. The all-female band Vesna, which gained international fame with the Eurovision hit "My Sister's Crown" and won the hearts of fans in the Czech Republic with the single "Moravo," has decided to take another milestone in their career. This decision was primarily driven by fans, who sold out the nationwide tour "Muzika Slavica" two times in a row.

New edition

Vesna decided to announce its historically first Forum Karlín a year in advance by literally disappearing from social media and leaving behind a single mysterious post dated 22.10. The most loyal fans of Vesna received a hint from the band in the form of a document from their last tour, where Vesna slightly opens a window into the backstage preparations. It seems that combining music and motherhood is going successfully for Vesna. This year, when the frontwoman of Vesna, Patricie Kaňok, and violinist Bára Juránková welcomed their daughters into the world, the band managed to start an international project with foreign artists called Female Anthems, as well as release a duet "Po vodě" about female friendship with Kateřina Marie Tichá.

Vesna, known for originally combining pop melodies with rap and folklore in their music, always pays attention to the visual aspect of their videos and performances. The same will be true for Forum Karlín, for which a special concept is being created by director Zuzana Akopjan Veselá, who was responsible for preparing Vesna's performance at Eurovision.

In 2018, the then-unknown band Vesna was invited to Forum Karlín by Scandinavian singer Aurora, and Vesna performed there as the opening act. “It’s a dream concert for us; we’ve always seen it as a musical milestone for the band,” reveals the singer and songwriter of Vesna, Patricie Kaňok.

Vesna cannot reveal much about the show yet, only that besides their most famous hits, fans will hear songs from the album "Pátá bohyně" in a symphonic arrangement or see a brand new international project, Female Anthems, brought directly to the stage. Whether the band will invite any guests, such as Kateřina Marie Tichá, Ego, or Vojta Dyk, with whom the band has previously released features or duets, they leave as a surprise for the fans.
