The light exhibition Heart of Europe has already transformed the Yellow Spa into a magical winter area.

Winter evenings during Advent can take on a calmer form in Prague; just head to the banks of the Vltava River. The Yellow Spa will transform into a light complex every day after dark until January 31, 2026. Thanks to its location away from the crowds, it offers a pleasant space for walks and relaxation. The exhibition Heart of Europe creates an environment where entertainment, education, and the picturesque panorama of Prague and Vyšehrad meet.

Advent Stop Away from the Crowds: Lights on the Banks of the Vltava

Žluté lázně also offer a space to breathe amidst the pre-Christmas hustle. The winter path along the river leads away from the busiest tourist spots, and thanks to sensitively placed installations, the exhibition feels natural and respectful of the surrounding environment. Whether it's a family outing, an Advent date, or a gathering with friends, the light exhibition creates an atmosphere that provides peace, space, and an experience without crowds and with an open view of the river.

Heart of Europe: 35 Stops Across the Continent

The exhibition offers a unique journey through Europe, bringing significant historical stages and symbols of European cities closer through 35 light installations. Visitors will travel from ancient Greece and Rome through the Viking Age, Columbus's overseas voyages, to icons of modern architecture such as the Eiffel Tower and London's Tower Bridge.

Each light stop reveals a different layer of European identity and shows how shared history, culture, and values reflect in the present. The installations were created in the Czech Republic and bear the handwriting of local artists, designers, and technicians. “The story of Europe is also the story of all of us; it is a mosaic that connects values, traditions, and common roots,” says Eva Poláčková, owner of DECOLED, the company behind the project.

Music, Lights, and a View from the Water: An Experience for All Generations

In addition to the visual installations, the exhibition is accompanied by original music, including the song Story of Lights, which was exclusively recorded for the project by singer Debbi.

Special experiences also include sightseeing cruises on a light boat, which take place every Friday and on weekends. Visitors can view the glowing park and winter Prague from a new perspective from the surface of the Vltava.

Special cruise dates will take place between December 22–23 and December 25–30 (except December 24 and 31).
