The season has already begun with the long-established Kutná Hora Summer Festival, a holiday-long celebration featuring night tours, theatre performances, and unique cultural experiences in Kutná Hora and the surrounding area. Running from June 1 to September 30, the festival enters its 18th edition in 2026.
Throughout the summer, visitors can also enjoy a range of themed tours offered by the Kutná Hora Guide Service. One of the highlights is a special tour inspired by the video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, connecting the game’s world with the real history of Kutná Hora. Participants will discover what the town looked like around the year 1403 and compare the game’s depiction with historical reality — all without spoilers. The tours are engaging, accessible, and suitable both for fans of the game and for anyone interested in exploring Kutná Hora from a different perspective. Dates and reservations are available at www.pskh.reenio.cz.

Another highlight of the summer programme is the photography exhibition In the Land of Pomegranate Trees by French photographer and humanitarian worker Hiên Lâm Duc. The exhibition offers a unique look at Iraqi Kurdistan — a region often associated with conflict and tension, but also a place of rich cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and vibrant everyday life.
The summer season will conclude on September 26 with the St. Wenceslas Celebrations in Palacký Square. The event will feature two music stages — the Pop & Rock Stage and the Folk & Country Stage. The full programme will be announced soon. For the latest updates, visit www.kutnahora.cz or follow the city’s official Facebook page.
