New edition

The third edition of the largest cycling festival of the year, Prague Bike Fest, at the Exhibition Grounds is approaching, along with a number of new features!

On the weekend of April 26 – 27, 2025, the open-air zone on Brussels Road and the adjacent meadows, as well as in the Křižík Pavilions, will once again host not only the best bikers from the Czech Republic and abroad, but especially visitors will enjoy a packed fair with TOP brands, testing, exhibitions, lectures, races, adrenaline, group rides, or relaxation with good food. Like every year, this year a part of the fair will be dedicated to children, for whom a children's testing circuit will be prepared under the guidance of instructors from Trail Guide. However, those who primarily enjoy adrenaline must not miss the Big Air show led by Teodor Kovács and other well-known local and international riders. And beware – this year, the men will compete in a unique race for prize money of 100,000 CZK as part of the Big Air Eliminator, with additional prize money prepared by the main partner Sazka for the Freestyle BMX race SAZKA PBF GRAND BMX 2025. The main partner of Prague Bike Fest is Sazka, and the event partners include ČEZ, Škoda Auto, Pražská plynárenská, LIDL, foodora, and BESIP.

New for 2025 – Big Air Eliminator for prize money of 100,000 CZK

The unique freestyle mountain bike race Big Air Eliminator will be one of the main adrenaline attractions this year, where riders will compete for one hundred thousand crowns. This is a unique format where the top riders from the Czech and European cycling scenes will measure their strengths in a spectator-attractive elimination format on Sunday. The qualification for 30 invited riders will take place on Saturday from 3:30 PM, and the main battle of the final riders will take place on Sunday from 2:00 PM.

SAZKA PBF GRAND BMX 2025 & SAZKA BMX pump track and mountain bike rental

This year's edition of SAZKA GRAND BMX 2025 will take place at the Prague Bike Fest, and visitors have a lot to look forward to! A double mini ramp, where the top of the Czech freestyle BMX community will compete, and also a world unique – a modular BMX pump track made from upcycled lottery tickets from Sazka. Two tons of tickets were used for its development and production. After Sazka Kickz sneakers, modular furniture, and rePuk, the pump track is another upcycled product created as part of the reLosy platform. Sazka thus gives old winning and unsold tickets a second life and brings them back into play. Visit the popular SAZKA pump track and try riding a bike or scooter – you can rent them for free on site! Visitors can also try the Mood Meters in the area, which will measure their mood and provide simple tips on how to improve it if necessary.

Škoda Auto not just for kids

At the Škoda exhibition, visitors can try out cycling simulators Rouvy and experience a sprint on a bike over 900 m. Another attraction will be outdoor games for children. The youngest visitors can look forward to a popular children's traffic playground with children's bikes and balance bikes. Of course, the latest Škoda models – Elroq and Enyaq Coupé Sportline will also be present in the zone. “As a brand that has long supported all cyclists, we are looking forward to meeting the amazing cycling family and will be very happy to meet everyone in a friendly and sports atmosphere at our premises and enjoy the festival together,” says Libor Šedivák, Head of Marketing Škoda Auto ČR.

The fair is the heart of the event

The cycling fair is one of the main pillars of the festival. It is a place where sellers and manufacturers of cycling equipment meet not only with their customers but also among themselves for mutual inspiration. At Prague Bike Fest, you can look forward to dozens of exhibitors and hundreds of brands – from renowned Czech and foreign brands to those that are just settling into the market.

Opening of the cycling season with the participation of the president of the Czech Cycling Federation

On Saturday, April 26, there will be a symbolic opening of the cycling season for this year on the main stage, with the participation of guests – the president of the Czech Cycling Federation David Průša and representatives of the companies SAZKA and Škoda, as well as a representative of Prague Bike Fest and selected athletes.

Premiere of "On Trails Through the Mountains"

Panel discussions at the BIKE FORUM STAGE (lecture previews)

Lecture topic: On a bike in the city, out of the city, and on the way out of the city

How to avoid getting stuck in traffic, not lose your cool, and get out of the city without pushing your bike on the sidewalk? Come listen and share tips for urban riding and experiences with cycling in everyday traffic, even if just on the way out of the city.

Lecture topic: Where does urban cycling have its place in Prague?

Is Prague a bike city? And will it be? What can help make cycling in Prague a natural choice, or is it already somewhere? Come listen to a debate about where Prague is heading, what works, what is missing, and whether cycling transport is expected to grow.

Trial Zone

The Trial Zone, under the direction of Bike O'clock – Damjan Siriški and Ondřej Šenk, must not be missed. Trial is a discipline where riders try to overcome artificially created obstacles at low speeds, and spectators can watch the riders during jumps on high stairs, dropping down, riding on the front or rear wheel, various turns, and other tricks. The zone consists of various obstacles suitable for trial, such as picnic tables or pyramids.

Festival Rides

Festival rides are very popular. Group rides outside the festival area will always have their destination back to the Exhibition Grounds, and in this case, there will also be an instructor. There are no restrictions on what kind of bike to come on; everyone is welcome – whether on road bikes or mountain bikes. Because the main thing is to meet while enjoying sports! The rides will be organized by partners BIKES ON FILM, SKI & BIKE CENTRUM RADOTÍN, and M1 PROJECT.

Children's Skills Center by Trail Guide

The zone will again consist of several different tracks with artificial obstacles, where children will be able to hone their cycling skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.

What can children look forward to?

The entire zone will be designed as an educational MTB zone for children with 30-minute time blocks for teaching, during which children will go through all stations. There will be three stations with different types of obstacles (mini jump; bumps as terrain unevenness, etc.). At each station, there will be a Trail Guide instructor who will teach children how to overcome the obstacle correctly and safely. The 30-minute blocks will always start on the hour and half-hour; the first block will start at 10:30 AM. To make it really fun for the kids, they will receive a card at the beginning, which instructors will fill out at each station, and for completing all stations, they will receive a medal. The card will also go into a draw for small prizes.

Testing

Are you looking for a new bike before the season? The Prague Bike Fest offers you a unique opportunity to try out the latest bike models. Whether you are looking for a new road bike and need to find the right size, or you are choosing a mountain bike and want to test new suspension, you will find everything in one place – in our testing zone. Several closed circuits will be prepared within the Exhibition Grounds for all testers, complemented by the option to ride outside the area with a test bike.

NOTE: A personal helmet is mandatory!

Prague Bike Fest maintains its quality, energy, and unique atmosphere this year as well. A new feature is the adjusted distribution of responsibilities among the festival partners. The organization of the 3rd edition of Prague Bike Fest is again ensured by the companies MVP s.r.o. and Výstaviště Praha a.s. Both co-production partners continue to work closely together on the overall concept of the festival and its program offerings. For this year's edition, there has been an adjustment in the distribution of responsibilities: Výstaviště Praha will now ensure not only the marketing communication of the festival, as it was in previous years, but also the production of the event, which was previously handled by MVP. This step is the result of a joint agreement and aims to further strengthen the organization of the event. The main partner of Prague Bike Fest is Sazka, and the event partners are ČEZ, Škoda Auto, Pražská plynárenská, LIDL, foodora, and BESIP. A big thank you to all partners for their financial support of the event.
