Petr Bende is embarking on a traditional Christmas tour across the Czech Republic, this year also with Tomáš Matonoha and Bára Stěpánová.

Singer Petr Bende will once again resonate on stages across the Czech Republic with his traditional Christmas concerts. The tour will start on November 28 in Zlín and will last until December 22, where he will perform in Brno. The tour will bring a mix of festive atmosphere, music, and memories. This year's concerts promise a unique experience, not only due to the music but also because of special guests and exceptional performances.

Petr Bende is going on a Christmas tour with various musical formations – his band, the cimbalom band Gromba, an acoustic trio, and also in collaboration with the philharmonic. “In the program with the band and the cimbalom, we will reminisce about our first Christmas album, which this year celebrates 15 years since its recording at the Janáček Theatre in Brno,” says Bende, adding: “We will adapt the playlist to this anniversary, and some songs will be performed in the same arrangement that our fans remember.”

The concert series will be enriched by performances from well-known personalities. Actor, comedian, and songwriter Tomáš Matonoha will join the larger concerts with the band and cimbalom music, and besides singing, he will also bring stand-up performances that promise improvisation and unexpected moments. “Tomáš is a great improviser, so unexpected things can happen,” reveals Bende. Actress and singer Bára Stěpánová will be a guest at two concerts in Frýdek-Místek and Dačice, where she will sing their joint duet Dezertér.

Petr Bende has been active on the Czech music scene for more than two decades. His band, which he founded in 1997, is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, and the singer himself is reflecting on his career with an eye towards the future. “I still want to push the band forward and play in new places. Every concert and every tour brings new experiences, and that drives me forward,” says Bende.

At the end of the tour, after eighteen concerts, Petr Bende plans to enjoy Christmas in the family circle. “Christmas has always been associated with childhood, family, and the true atmosphere that I experienced in my hometown of Újezd u Rosic. After the concert marathon, I am really looking forward to enjoying peace and comfort at home,” concludes the singer.
