Netflix has released the official trailer for the first part of the second season of the series Wednesday. The trailer introduces the continuation of the story of Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), who this time delves into even deeper and darker mysteries in the gothic setting of Nevermore Academy.

New edition

The first part of the second season will premiere on Netflix on August 6, with the second part premiering on September 3.

Along with the trailer, new official photos from the series have also been released, offering fans a first look at the darker atmosphere and the return of beloved characters. Netflix has also announced a special international tour for the cast and creators called THE DOOM TOUR, which will take place in Europe (including England, Poland, Italy, France, and Romania), as well as in the United Kingdom, North America, Asia (South Korea), and Australia in the coming months.

Synopsis:

Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to wander the gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where new enemies and new troubles await her. In this season, Wednesday will have to deal with family, friends, and old adversaries, leading her into another year filled with darkly entertaining and bizarre chaos. Armed with her typical sharp wit and deadpan expression, Wednesday will also dive into a new chilling supernatural mystery. Creators and head writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return with a second chillingly suspenseful season of the series WEDNESDAY, along with executive producer and director Tim Burton.
