Harly's bar: a stylish spot in the city center worth visiting

A place where nothing is forbidden and where even the biggest lambs become nocturnal animals. If Mirek Dušín were to enter this establishment, he would become a rock star. Do you want to experience a really wild party that you cannot get home from until dawn? Harly’s Bar will not disappoint.

New edition

Welcome to one of the most exciting clubs in Prague. And this is no newcomer. Harly’s Bar in Dlouhá Street is now a legend, and its patrons cannot get enough of it. They have good reason to keep coming back. Actually, they have several reasons.

Reason number one: You love rock and independence. Both of which are reflected in the atmosphere of the place in the best possible way. If you have a problem with one or the other, move on down the block. This place would make you feel like Alice in Wonderland after you have ingested the sponges.

The second reason: the drink menu is really great. The cocktails are the backbone of the place and it is no problem to agree with the bartender on almost anything if he has on hand. A bonus is the excellent prices for a similar location.

And the third reason? Absolutely luxurious location! Harly’s Bar is just a few steps away from the Old Town Square. In practice, this means that it does not matter what time your excursion to this “Hell on Earth” (pun intended) ends. You will always be close to the various modes of public transport and the swarm of taxi drivers that regularly circle the club until the morning.

But enough of the introductory talk – it is time to describe the space itself so you know what is actually waiting for you at Harly’s.

You will want to tune in as soon as you enter. That is because there is no charge to get into the club. It may seem like a trivial triviality, but many clubs today benefit from mandatory entry fees. After you drop your stuff off in the cloakroom, your excursion through the entire venue can begin, which is accessed via the stairs downstairs. Harly’s Bar is located in the basement of the building and is shaped like a long noodle. At first glance it does not appear to, but it can hold an unexpected amount of people. The place itself has two bars (a large and a small one), a dance floor, normal tables and a few circular seats. It is a good idea to arrive early if you want to sit down.

Harly’s has no shortage of visitors. But it honestly does not matter what time you arrive. You will not want to sit down anyway. You will have an assault on your senses during the evening. And not only with great music and other visitors (there’s a lot to see), but also thanks to the bartenders who do not like to bore their customers and therefore regularly organize spectacular fire shows. And it does not stop there. If the ladies take a liking to the bartender, he might just put Jack in your mouth from a bottle right on the bar. And do not worry, gentlemen, it is not just for the fairer sex. Harly’s has its fair share of feisty female bartenders.

So, what do you mean by Harly’s Bar? Well, it is a place where no one is bored, where you will easily kick back one drink after another, where you can dance on the table on weekends and weekdays, and where the bartenders party with you. It is a club that brings out a whole other side of people. It is a place to party or have a birthday party. Why? Because they will be as wild as the place itself – the bartenders will chain you up, tie you to the wall, pour ice in your pants, spray you with whipped cream, in short, they will prove to you that they enjoy their work and you will have fun with them.

So, if you prefer a rock blast to pop pomade and you are sick of all those glitzy venues with shamrocks in tight pants and girls looking like plastic mannequins, head to Harly’s Bar, which will offer you the atmosphere of a proper American rock venue. The attentive service, with the added bonus of a midnight fire show, special drinks, music all night that will get everyone rocking, and an atmosphere you will not forget. Just a party that will get you in the mood for the next day.
