G&T Spot: A Gin Lover’s Hidden Gem in the Heart of Prague

Tucked away in the cobbled lanes of central Prague, just a stone’s throw from the city’s iconic sights, lies a unique treasure for gin enthusiasts — G&T Spot. This boutique bar may be small in size, but it overflows with charm, character, and an unmatched dedication to two exceptional brands: Tanqueray Gin and Double Dutch mixers. It’s not just a bar — it’s an intimate experience tailored to connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike who appreciate quality, ambiance, and an unforgettable gin and tonic.

New edition

A Concept Born of Passion

In an age where bars often try to do too much, G&T Spot sets itself apart by doing one thing extraordinarily well — serving world-class gin and tonics. The concept is both simple and inspired: to create a space entirely devoted to showcasing the excellence of Tanqueray Gin in all its varieties, perfectly paired with the artisanal mixers and sodas from Double Dutch. Every detail of the bar’s menu, décor, and presentation reflects this singular focus.

This isn’t just a place where you grab a quick drink; it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, taste, and elegance. Whether you’re a gin aficionado or simply curious to explore a more refined G&T experience, the bar invites you in with a promise: you’ve never had a gin and tonic quite like this before.

At the heart of the bar lies its pride and joy — the Tanqueray gin collection. From the timeless Tanqueray London Dry to the subtly floral Tanqueray No. Ten, every bottle behind the bar tells a story. You’ll also find limited editions and seasonal infusions that surprise even the most dedicated gin lovers.

What truly sets G&T Spot apart is its spirit of community. Despite its small size, the bar has cultivated a loyal following. Regular events, gin tastings, and seasonal specials keep the experience fresh and engaging.

The bar’s Instagram presence (@gtspotprague) is a vibrant extension of its physical space. It showcases not only beautiful drink creations and interior shots but also a sense of humor, creativity, and authenticity that reflects the team behind the bar.

It’s clear that G&T Spot is not just a business, but a passion project — one rooted in a love for exceptional spirits and unforgettable hospitality.

A Place for Everyone

Don’t let the sophisticated theme fool you. While the drinks are high-end, the vibe remains welcoming and warm. This is not a place reserved for elite gin snobs. On the contrary, everyone is welcome — from couples on a romantic night out to groups of friends exploring Prague’s nightlife, to solo travelers in search of something unique.

If you’re unsure what to order, just say so — the staff will gladly walk you through your options, explain flavor profiles, and make you feel completely at ease. There’s no pressure to know everything about gin, only to enjoy it.

FOR OLD MOBILE TO ZOO PRAGUE

Prague Zoo has prepared a special event for schoolchildren during the autumn holidays. Every child under 15 who hands in their old mobile phone for recycling at the main entrance will gain entry to the zoo on Friday, January 30, for just one koruna. The mining of rare metals like niobium and tantalum, which are key for mobile phone production, contributes to the deforestation of Central African rainforests. By recycling them, the pressure on local inhabitants – including pangolins, elephants, and gorillas – is reduced. Additionally, the Prague gorillas will have a special program on Friday.

While it increases in men from young adulthood and peaks around the age of forty, in women it is strongest between the ages of twenty and thirty. A new study by Estonian scientists also shows that even during the period of highest sexual appetite, women have a lower level of sexual desire than men for most of their adult lives.
