Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) returns to his most dangerous case yet in the third and darkest installment of Rian Johnson's detective saga. When young priest Jud Duplenticy (Josh O'Connor) is sent to assist the charismatic Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin), it becomes clear that not everything is right in the church. Among Wicks' humble yet devoted flock are the pious church lady Martha Delacroix (Glenn Close), cautious caretaker Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church), nervous lawyer Vera Draven, Esq. (Kerry Washington), aspiring politician Cy Draven (Daryl McCormack), local doctor Nat Sharp (Jeremy Renner), bestselling author Lee Ross (Andrew Scott), and concert cellist Simone Vivane (Cailee Spaeny). After a sudden and seemingly impossible murder shakes the town, the absence of an obvious suspect prompts local police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis) to join forces with renowned detective Benoit Blanc to unravel a mystery that defies all logic. Oscar-nominated director Rian Johnson wrote the screenplay and directed the film Knives Out: The Awakening of the Dead Man, assembling another star-studded, award-winning cast.
