Netflix today unveiled the first official trailer for the upcoming sequel to the successful detective film Knives Out. Fans can look forward to the return of the charismatic detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, on December 12. The new installment, titled Knives Out: The Awakening of the Dead Man, will feature a star-studded cast, including Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, and Jeremy Renner. The director and screenwriter is once again Rian Johnson, who was also involved in the two previous successful films in the series.

Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) returns to his most dangerous case yet in the third and darkest installment of Rian Johnson's detective saga. When young priest Jud Duplenticy (Josh O'Connor) is sent to assist the charismatic Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin), it becomes clear that not everything is right in the church. Among Wicks' humble yet devoted flock are the pious church lady Martha Delacroix (Glenn Close), cautious caretaker Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church), nervous lawyer Vera Draven, Esq.
