Travel without stress: why it pays to have insurance that really works?

Anyone who has ever traveled abroad knows that even a trip planned down to the last detail can be disrupted by one unexpected moment. When closing the suitcase, one often just thinks, "I hope everything will be fine." Most of the time it is. And that is precisely why it is sometimes forgotten how thin the line is that separates a carefree trip from a moment that can shake even the greatest adventurers.

ERV clients often describe similar experiences. Sometimes, just a single detail is enough – a bag doesn't arrive, someone among the travelers gets a stomach ache, a child develops a fever, or someone breaks a leg while playing sports. Suddenly, you are far from home, in a foreign environment, and in a situation where it’s not just about money, but mainly about security. And it is precisely in these moments that the difference between regular travel insurance and insurance based on real experiences of people becomes evident.

When a person finds themselves in trouble in a foreign country, it really matters that someone offers a helping hand with empathy and professionalism. And that is exactly what ERV has been doing for a long time. It’s not just about a quick response, but also about the feeling that on the other end of the line sits a person who does not see you as just a number in the system, but as someone who needs help. One client described that after losing their luggage, they knew exactly what to do within a few minutes. Others speak of the immense relief when ERV arranged treatment at a trusted clinic during a sudden illness, and they didn’t have to explain in a foreign language what was hurting. Others appreciate the simplicity – no long paperwork or searching for information on their own.

These stories have more in common than it seems. At their core stands one strong motive: “We were not left alone in this.” And it is precisely because of this feeling that people take out travel insurance. Not for the document in the email, but for the peace of mind they take with them on the plane, on the ferry, on excursions, and to the beach.

"It was a kind of predecessor to today's ultralight aircraft. People built Heavenly Fleas at home in the 1930s and 1940s according to a book guide.
