The Sound Chapter wants to open a new chapter of electronic music in the Czech Republic. WORLD ELEPHANT DAY AT ZOO PRAGUE
Prague Zoo will celebrate the largest land animals on the planet this Saturday. The themed program invites visitors to a guided bathing of elephants or to participate in making paper from elephant dung. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Paper Mill, a limited edition of uniquely numbered paper will also be available for sale. The Indian elephants in Prague will not be left out either. TRIPLE SUCCESS IN TROJA: PRAGUE ZOO REPORTS FIRST BREEDING OF THREE SNAKE SPECIES
At Prague Zoo, offspring of three species of snakes that had not previously bred here have come into the world. For the first time, two hatchlings of the recently discovered northern Australian python were born for science. The remaining species are live-bearing – a total of ten baby snakes were born to a female brown boa, an endemic species from Madagascar. The third reptile being bred for the first time is an underground inhabitant of Asian sand dunes: a female Tatar python delighted her keepers with four offspring.
