Mega queer sci-fi comedy
In this whimsical Australian animated film, awarded the Berlin Teddy Award, introverted princess cosmic lesbian Saira embarks on an inter-gay-lactic mission to save her ex-girlfriend from evil aliens among the incels.
Introverted princess Saira, daughter of the flamboyant lesbian queens of the planet Clitopolis, is devastated when her girlfriend, the bounty hunter Kiki, suddenly breaks up with her because she demands too much of her attention. When Kiki is kidnapped by heterosexual white male mufos – the forgotten incels of the future – Saira must leave the comfort of her gay universe to deliver the demanded ransom: her royal labrys, the most powerful weapon known to the lesbian kind. The only problem is... Saira doesn't have it! Saira has just 24 hours to obtain the weapon and rescue Kiki, so she sets off on an inter-gay-lactic journey of self-discovery that includes encounters with a problematic spaceship and a newfound friendship with gay-pop refugee Willow. A vibrant, candy-colored animated comedic adventure across the all-embracing vastness of the queer universe.
