The docudrama Lonely Wolf follows the life and combat fate of Czech Royal Air Force fighter pilot Josef František.
Young Czechoslovak pilot Josef František, after the Nazi occupation of his homeland, leaves through Poland and France to Britain so he can take to the cockpit and fight. Accompanying him on his journey through exile and war-torn Europe are his comrades Josef Balejka, Wilhelm Kosarz, and Matěj Pavlovič, with whom he shares uncertainty, danger, and the desire to confront the enemy. In the ranks of the famous 303 Polish Fighter Squadron of the RAF, thanks to his extraordinary talent, courage, and predatory instinct, he quickly becomes the most successful foreign fighter in the Battle of Britain. However, the same untamed spirit that makes him a legend in the air brings him into conflict with orders, discipline, and even his fellow fighters on the ground. He fights not only against the Luftwaffe but also against his own restless nature and the increasing pressure of combat deployment, which becomes harder to face. With each takeoff and victory, his legend grows, but so does the price he and his closest ones pay, until the exceptional pilot becomes… a lone wolf.

The anniversary tour of the band Queenie continues to Prague. On Tuesday, August 11, as part of the 20 Years Tour, they will perform at the Křižík Fountain at Prague's Exhibition Grounds, where they will offer a grand summer concert show dedicated to the music of Queen and the legacy of Freddie Mercury. This year's tour is special for the band as they celebrate 20 years of existence. Over two decades, they have performed more than 1,400 concerts in 25 countries around the world and have sold out the O2 Arena several times.

At Prague Zoo, offspring of three species of snakes that had not previously bred here have come into the world. For the first time, two hatchlings of the recently discovered northern Australian python were born for science. The remaining species are live-bearing – a total of ten baby snakes were born to a female brown boa, an endemic species from Madagascar. The third reptile being bred for the first time is an underground inhabitant of Asian sand dunes: a female Tatar python delighted her keepers with four offspring.

Interest in this year's Summer Stage has exceeded expectations.
