Originally, it was supposed to be a drama set in a contemporary village. Then singers, dancers, and a pyrotechnician joined the story... and things got a bit out of control.
Mr. Jíš managed to sell his first screenplay at Barrandov. Even in the preparatory phase, he is horrified to discover that the filmmakers have completely bypassed his intention - instead of an exploration of contemporary village life, they are preparing a grand musical show, which they are convinced will be a box office hit. The very first shots speak volumes. An elegant man arrives in the village of Lipovec, welcomed by all local officials and ordinary citizens with singing and dancing, as this sought-after expert is supposed to help them increase their yields per hectare with his progressive methods. The filming continues in a similar spirit, and the newly minted screenwriter can hardly believe his eyes...

Westfield Černý Most will present the Czech premiere of the Spider-Man phenomenon.
The two-week Spider-Man zone will also include a Meet & Greet with Adam Mišík. The most anticipated movie blockbuster of this summer, "Spider-Man: A Brand New Day," is hitting theaters. Westfield Černý Most will transform into the epicenter of the spider world for this occasion and will be draped in iconic red and blue colors. The main highlight of the program will be an exclusive festive premiere at the CineStar multiplex, as well as a signing event combined with an interview with Adam Mišík, who lent his Czech voice to the beloved hero. Visitors to the center can also look forward to a rich fourteen-day accompanying program for the whole family, which will kick off on July 20th.
The airshow over Lake Most will kick off three days of the Let It Roll festival.
Lake Most will transform into the center of the world drum & bass scene in just a few days. Let It Roll, starting on July 30, will feature more than 130 international artists, six themed stages, three live performances, and a traditional opening show. The main stars of this year's edition include Chase & Status, Pendulum LIVE, and Wilkinson. Visitors can also look forward to an aerial show by the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team over the surface of Lake Most.
