Every Friday morning, we spread out mats in the vineyard gazebo in Grébovka and together we take a moment for ourselves.
You can expect gentle movement, breath, calm... and a summer morning that has a completely different atmosphere than usual. You can look forward to your favorite instructors who will guide you throughout the summer – each time a little differently, but always with ease and respect for the body. And the best part? All classes are FREE thanks to the support of the Prague 2 City District. Where to find us: Grébovka, vineyard gazebo. Bring: a mat, possibly a blanket, and clothing according to the weather. Just come. The rest will take care of itself. In June, you can look forward to classes with Veronika Carman. Morning classes that will gently guide you through the awakening of both body and mind. We will start calmly, with breath and gradual tuning in, and then move into flowing poses that will get the body moving, stretching, and energizing it for the whole day. The pace will be natural and gentle, with an emphasis on sensing your own body and breath. You can expect a balanced connection of movement and stillness, which will leave you pleasantly awakened, relaxed, and light. Just as a summer morning deserves. In July, you will meet with Lucie Soukupová during gentle hatha yoga classes. A gentle style of yoga that teaches us physical relaxation, awareness of breath, and concentration of the mind. Slow and fluid execution of yoga poses combined with breath restores the body’s flexibility, strength, and energy. It is also an excellent remedy for managing stress. It is suitable for all age groups. August will belong to Dominika Malovecká and her mindful morning flow. We will start with conscious breathing, a short tuning in, and gradually awaken the body so that it wakes up naturally – without pressure, without rush. The classes are fluid, slower, with an emphasis on the connection of breath and movement. You will find gentle dynamics in them, but also space for stillness, awareness, and relaxation. Each meeting will end with a short relaxation, in the morning light, when Prague is still quiet and the air is fresh. So you can carry that peace with you throughout the day.
