The Rest Interval is a term borrowed from the moment between effort and recovery, between impulse and reaction, between two events, in which both the body and mind gain space for rest and renewal. In line with the author's long-term work, which focuses on themes of the male body, erotic scenes, stylized self-portraits, and records of rural landscapes, the project will connect themes of corporeality, nature, ecology, queer identity, and metamorphosis.
